Corporate M&A expert Harsh Pais to join Allen & Overy in London to head India Corporate practice
Allen & Overy has announced that Indian Corporate M&A expert Harsh Pais will be joining in London as a partner to lead its India Corporate practice.
Having previously worked in India and New York, Harsh is a well-known market-leader in Indian corporate M&A. Harsh is the erstwhile Partner and Co-Head of the Corporate Practice at Trilegal.
He has previously worked with Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP in New York for over three years. Prior to joining Trilegal in April 2011, he has also worked with AZB & Partners.
Harsh has extensive expertise in advising multinational corporations and private equity funds investing into India. His experience across sectors with a particular focus on energy, technology and financial services is highly recognized.
Harsh's will be based out of London and he will be working as part of the firm's highly regarded India Group.
The India Group has market-leading practices in various areas, including M&A, banking, restructuring and insolvency, capital markets and arbitration. It comprises over 100 partners and associates across the firm's global network, including in London, Singapore, Dubai, New York and Silicon Valley.
