Based on complex cross-border corporate matters, mainly in the technology and healthcare / life sciences segments, Matt's experience in representing clients is far-reaching. In California, he connects with an established group of highly regarded practitioners steered by Leif King, head of Baker McKenzie's Transactional Group. This group is termed as one of the largest in Northern California with more than 30 lawyers as of now. The group has directed recent major technology and healthcare / life sciences transactions. It includes Johnson & Johnson's spin-off of its consumer products business, Affirm's acquisition of Returnly, Instacart's acquisition of Caper AI and Snowflake's acquisition of Streamlit.

Matt, an ex-Ropes & Gray, joins Baker McKenzie in Northern California, where he served as Co-Head of the Technology, Media and Telecommunications Group. Acquiring JD from the University of California Hastings College of the Law he has completed BA from Stanford University.
