Simmons & Simmons Strengthens Dispute Resolution Team in Singapore
Simmons & Simmons has bolstered its dispute resolution capability in Singapore by welcoming Terence Seah, a seasoned disputes partner, to its ranks. Seah joins from Stephenson Harwood’s Singapore alliance firm Virtus Law, where he held a partnership position.
Accompanying Seah is Steven Kaye, a London-based partner specialising in construction and insurance disputes. Kaye is set to relocate to Simmons & Simmons’ Singapore office in July. With this addition, the UK firm’s dispute resolution team in Singapore will expand to four partners.
Emily Monastiriotis, international head of dispute resolution at Simmons & Simmons, highlighted the significance of these partner moves. She stated, “These two partner additions reflect the firm’s strong commitment to investing in Singapore and the broader region. Terence and Steven bring exceptional depth to our team and will help meet the growing demand for a wide range of dispute expertise, both domestically and internationally.”
Terence Seah, a Singapore-UK dual-qualified litigator, specialises in advising on commercial and financial disputes. Prior to his tenure at Virtus Law, he served as a partner at Shook Lin & Bok, following nearly five years as a senior associate at Drew & Napier and WongPartnership. Over the years, Seah has represented international corporations and financial institutions in significant international and local disputes, as well as investigations.
