Linklaters hires Evan Lam to expand financial regulation and derivatives practices in Asia
He was previously serving as a partner at Ashurst
Linklaters has announced that Evan Lam has joined as a partner in the firm's financial regulation and structured finance and derivatives practices in Singapore.
Having extensive experience in advising international and domestic clients on the full spectrum of Singapore financial regulations, his expertise lies in sectors including banking and securities regulation, fintech, ESG and funds.

Lam advises clients on supporting industry bodies and financial institutions in connection with derivatives regulatory reform, netting and collateral enforceability, and derivatives and structured product transactions.
He was previously working with Ashurst as a partner and head of the Singapore financial regulation practice. Prior to that, he was a partner at Allen & Gledhill.
