Global law firm Hogan Lovells has announced that partner Adam K. Levin has been appointed as Practice Area Leader for America’s litigation practice.
Levin has been with the firm’s Washington, D.C. office for over 25 years. He advises clients on complex commercial disputes, class actions, and government investigations, with a particular focus on the life sciences sector.
He has served on the global leadership team of the firm’s dispute practices, and as general manager of litigation at the Washington office. Levin represented some of the country's most well-known companies in numerous RICO, antitrust, consumer protection, and other disputes.
Des Hogan, the Global Practice Group Leader of the firm’s dispute practice remarked, “Levin has represented some of the country's most well-known companies in the largest class action and commercial litigations. In addition, he has helped lead our lateral recruitment strategy in the Americas. I’m confident that he is the right person to continue to build our nationally recognized litigation capabilities in the Americas.”
Hogan added, “I would also like to give a sincere thank you to Tom Connally for his leadership. During his tenure, our litigation practice expanded across many key markets, and we continued to build on our reputation as a national litigation powerhouse.”
On his appointment, Levin expressed, “This is an exciting time to be stepping into this role. As a firm, we are best known for representing clients in their most complex, challenging matters, particularly in highly regulated sectors. I look forward to building on the foundation set by Hogan, Connally, and others.”
