Global law firm Clyde & Co has appointed Robin Wood as a partner in its Projects & Construction practice in London. Wood, who joins from CMS, specialises in contentious construction law with a focus on international infrastructure projects. As a fluent Spanish speaker, he provides crucial support to Spanish-speaking contractors, helping them anticipate, avoid and resolve disputes.
In addition to his role as a solicitor advocate, Wood is actively involved in international arbitration and has extensive experience with major international arbitral institutions. He also handles litigation matters in the English courts. His project portfolio spans across various regions, including the UK, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and the Americas. Notably, Wood has worked on diverse projects in sectors such as transport infrastructure, energy, electricity transmission, water, chemical process plants, and marine construction and dredging.
