Simmons & Simmons Advised Prime Sustainable Infra Debt Fund on Solar Energy Project
It is set to be one of Germany’s largest unsubsidized ventures in the sphere
International law firm Simmons & Simmons has advised Prime Sustainable Infrastructure Debt Fund on financing of around €11m.
The mezzanine financing will support the late-stage development of an 80 MWp solar photovoltaic (PV) project in Brandenburg, Germany. It is being established by a German developer, supported by financial advisor Capcora.
The project is set to commence construction in the second quarter of this year and is targeted for commercial operations by April 2025.
It is the third time in six months that Simmons & Simmons has supported Prime on the financing of major PV projects.

The financing was led by partners Dr. Felix Biedermann and Dr. Jens Gölz. They were supported by associates Robin Pichler and Isabel Ribeiro Mousinho.
