Freshfields acted for Teneo on its acquisition of Tulchan
International law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has advised Teneo, a global CEO advisory firm, on its acquisition of Tulchan Communications LLP, a leading independent M&A, financial and corporate communications advisory firm based in the UK and Singapore.
The transaction is unconditional and is expected to close by the end of January 2023.
As part of the transaction, the senior team of Tulchan Communications LLP will join Teneo and become part of Teneo's Strategy and Communications team in London and Singapore. They will bring deep expertise in shareholder and stakeholder communications to strengthen Teneo's financial and political offerings.
The Tulchan team will work in partnership with Teneo's broader integrated team across multiple business segments, including Financial Advisory, Management Consulting, Risk Advisory, and People Advisory, around the world.
CVC Capital Partners, a leading global private equity and investment advisory firm, partnered with Teneo in 2019.
Freshfields advised Teneo alongside US law firm Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz as co-counsel on the transaction.
