Dentons Advised Arora Group on B&B HOTELS' UK Debut, Marking Strategic Growth
Global law firm Dentons has advised Arora Group on its long-term lease agreement for Arora Park Hotel to B&B HOTELS, Europe's fastest-growing economy and value-for-money hotel chain.
Located near Heathrow Airport, the hotel was originally built for the British Airways crew before transitioning to serve the general public. This agreement marks B&B HOTELS' first venture into the UK market, aligning with their ongoing expansion strategy in their existing 17 countries. Their goal is to become the leader in value-for-money hospitality with a commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), aiming to reach 3,000 hotels within a decade.
The Arora Group, a prominent UK private owner-operator of hotels, boasts a diverse portfolio of flagship properties across key business locations nationwide. They collaborate with renowned global brands to deliver high service standards and sustainable growth. Dentons also supported the group in acquiring the former Heythorp College late last year.
Simon Masri, Real Estate & Hotels Partner at Dentons, led the team advising Arora Group on this transaction. He expressed his enthusiasm about facilitating B&B HOTELS' UK entry. "We are thrilled to have advised Arora Group on this transaction, which sees B&B HOTELS move into the UK for the first time, as they reaffirm their commitment to achieve their expansion plans," Masri said.
Sanjay Arora, Chief Operating Officer and Head of Property at Arora Group, extended his gratitude to Simon and the Dentons. "Thank you to Simon and the Dentons team for their valued support and commercial advice on the deal," Arora stated.
Simon Masri was assisted by a team of Dentons' London-based Real Estate lawyers: Partner Laura Gowing, Associate Ellen Gordon, and Trainee Noor Tabrizi.
