Kochhar & Co. Advised ITPO on World Expo 2025 India Pavilion
Kochhar & Co. provided legal counsel to the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) for setting up the "India Pavilion" at the upcoming World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan. The Expo will run from April 13 to October 13, 2025.
Established under the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, ITPO serves as the nodal agency for the Indian government in this project. The India Pavilion, with an estimated budget of ₹400 crores, will embody the World Expo's theme, "Designing Future Society for Our Lives."
A Kochhar & Co. team led by partners Purusharth Singh and Humera Niyazi, with support from associate Akshay Arvind Nair, advised ITPO on various aspects of establishing the pavilion. This included selecting a comprehensive project management service provider and finalizing commercial agreements leading up to the World Expo.
