Manan Oberoi has over twelve years’ experience in working with banks, Public Sector Undertakings (PSU), leading listed Companies, Government of India, State Governments, Consultants, Advisors, and esteemed organizations like World Bank, Asian Development Bank. His key areas of practice include debt finance, including domestic and cross border syndicated lending (both secured and unsecured), asset sales and corporate financing and refinancing; Securitization; Real Estate Finance, including housing finance companies in transactions relating to securitization of housing loans.

Mr. Oberoi was previously working with SBICAP and has handled portfolio exceeding Two Trillion (INR 2000.00 Billion) under consortium and multiple banking arrangements. He has been handling security creation & perfection for India’s leading companies representing sectors like steel, oil & gas exploration, power generation and infrastructure.

Mr. Oberoi has extensive experience in drafting and vetting of finance documents viz. Loan Agreement, Security Trustee Agreement, Share Pledge Trustee Agreement, Inter Creditor Agreement for banks, financial institutions, and non-banking financial companies.

He has rendered a legal opinion on matters related to application of stamp duty, registration of documents, title search and verification of property, enforceability of security.

He has extensive experience of working with various financial institutions, large corporations and has led various big ticket transactions including multiple banking arrangement and consortium banking, security creation and perfection, filing of compliances as also acting as Escrow agent for banks.
