The firm announced several promotions for 2022 in various spheres
New Delhi-based law firm Poovayya & Co has promoted four of its lawyers, Dharmendra Chatur, Mrinal Shankar, Saransh Jain and Shravanth Arya Tandra, in the dispute resolution practice.
Manu Kulkarni, the partner, who operates out of the Bengaluru and New Delhi offices, heads the firm's national dispute resolution practice.
Chatur is a 2013 graduate of Christ University School of Law, Bengaluru. With over eight years of experience, Chatur has previously worked with leading law firms. He is also a visiting faculty at the National Law School of India University, Bangalore. He has previously worked with King & Partridge, Samvad Partners, Giridhar & Co and Argus Partners.
Shankar is a 2011 graduate of Christ University School of Law, with experience of over a decade.
Jain is a 2010 graduate of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi and has an LLM from the Indian Law Institute, New Delhi. He has been associated with the firm for over six years.
Tandra is a 2010 graduate of Symbiosis Law School, Pune, having experience of over a decade.
Also, the principal associate at the firm, Varnika Sharma, has been promoted to partner-designate. She is a 2008 graduate of Amity Law School, Noida, serving the firm for over six years. The firm also promoted associates Mathuvanthy Mathavan and Dharma Tej Koneru to senior associates.
