Anand and Anand, one of the leading Law Firm based in New Delhi has announced an extension of its branding practice which will be dedicated in providing end-to-end legal and creative solutions for branding, including brand creation, brand identity, risk mitigation, product or geographical extension, protection, monetization, commercialization and legal tools and advice for valuing and protecting brands.
The firm intents to leveraging upon its years of experience in legal advisory and consulting to enhance the traditional ‘brand and business’ practice of preserving the intellectual property of a brand.
Known for his branding expertise and asset valuation expertise, Safir Anand, Practice Head, will be working closely with our team of registered and highly qualified expert brand valuation expert to assist clients in navigating the complex world of brand and IP protection to develop, maintain, enforce, and grow their portfolios strategically and legally.
With this, the branding team strength is increases to six members. As part of the new practice area, clients will be provided with patent, trademark, copyright, and domain protections, as well as strategic advice and collateral practices affecting the value of brands and their reputations, including tax, advertising, licensing, valuation, and social media marketing, as well as strategies that guarantee high returns on investment while adhering to business ethics.
Anand is known for his expert advice on branding to top-tier domestic and international companies. He also works closely with several start-ups mentoring them on building their brand. Safir sits on the CII ‘s ‘Ease of Doing Business’ committee and the task force for creative economy and contribution to GDP.
Further he has substantial work experience in the International Trademark Association (INTA’s) Commercialization of Brands Committee apart from contributing to its prestigious Brand Value Special Task Force Report.
He co-chaired the Global Brand Transactions and Due Diligence Sub-Committees having already served on its well-known brands committee.
As a result of this new practice, the firm promises to be able to provide its clients with a one-stop package for all branding related activities.
