Legal Era – Legal Media Group organized the 13th Indian Legal Awards 2024 in the spectacular environs of Hotel Taj Palace, New Delhi on the 4th of May 2024.
A unique mix of gravitas and gala celebrating legal finesse, innovation, and accomplishments, the 13th Indian Legal Awards were adorned by the August presence of dignitaries & stalwarts including R Venkatramani, Attorney General of India, Tushar Mehta, Solicitor General of India, our Chief Guest for the evening was Hon’ble Justice Hima Kohli, Judge, Supreme Court of India, Hon’ble Justice Manmohan, Chief Justice of Delhi High Court, Hon’ble Justice Rekha Palli, Judge Delhi High Court, Hon’ble Justice Pratibha Singh, Judge, Delhi High Court, and Hon’ble Justice Anish Dayal, Judge, Delhi High Court, Hon’ble Justice Dipak Misra, Former Chief Justice of India, Hon’ble Justice B.N Srikrishna, Former Judge, Supreme Court of India, Hon’ble Justice Arjan Sikri, Former Judge, Supreme Court of India, Justice Deepak Verma, Former Judge, Supreme Court of India Dr Manoj Kumar, Additional Secretary. The 13th Indian Legal Awards saw the esteemed presence of India’s notable & Finest Legal practitioners and changemakers. Leading & Distinguished General Counsels, in-house counsel, lawyers, business professionals & promoters of companies came together to applaud the awardees in a most extraordinary gathering - a gathering, and a community filled with so much talent, energy, and potential greatness.
A distinguished panel of judges meticulously evaluated a large pool of submissions from legal practitioners, in-house teams, and law firms – each of them had invested considerable time and effort in making the most competent showcase of their contributions. They assessed these entries for thoroughness, sensitivity, and responsiveness to the evolving circumstances of 2023-24.

Ms. Aakriti Raizada, Founder of Legal Era - Legal Media Group, opened the Awards ceremony dedicating the Legal Era Awards 2024 to the values of Collaboration and Innovation. Emphasizing the value of lawyers in the coming times, she opined “I strongly believe that no profession is more honourable than the law. The defenders of the Constitution, the protectors of the underprivileged, the wise counsellors of our society, the agile minds finding solutions to the most pressing problems, the pioneers of change and a better tomorrow. It is Legal Era’s honour to reward and recognise the role of our most incredible lawyers and law firms.”
Hon’ble Chief Guest for the 13th Indian Legal Awards, Justice Hima Kohli, shared an invigorating address emphasizing, "The awards recognize the exemplary contribution of lawyers who are setting new standards of professionalism and integrity. The awards presented this evening for the achievements serve as a source of inspiration for the entire legal community. The awards recognize the tireless efforts and outstanding achievements of the awardees and serves as a testament to driving the legal profession. Such recognition motivates peers to achieve excellence and the entire legal community to foster a culture of continuous improvement and achieving the highest standards.
And in today’s rapidly changing law, staying abreast is integral for the legal profession. Publications like Legal Era play a significant role in providing us with necessary updates on the legal world and creating a platform for debate, discussion, and legislation.
