Allen & Overy expands its tax practice with Florian Lechner
Renowned tax lawyer Florian Lechner is joining Allen & Overy as a partner with effect from 1 February 2023. Florian Lechner will counsel domestic & global clients from the firm's Frankfurt office.
Florian Lechner has over 25 years of experience advising international corporations and financial investors on tax issues. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions, structured finance, financial products, and alternative investments. Furthermore, he has extensive experience in the field of internal investigations in the financial sector and represents banks in tax audits, criminal tax litigation and tax court proceedings. He was most recently a partner at Jones Day and had previously worked for Linklaters for nearly twenty years, many of them as a partner. He also teaches at Hamburg's esteemed private Bucerius Law School in addition to his advisory practice.
