Trowers & Hamlins has successfully advised Oman Arab Bank S.A.O.G. (OAB) on the issuance of up to OMR 10,016,460 in unsecured, mandatory convertible bonds. This issuance aims to distribute dividends to OAB’s shareholders, reflecting the bank’s strong financial performance and liquidity position.
The advisory team from Trowers was led by partner and head of finance and capital markets in Oman, Salman Ahmed, along with senior associate Jonathan Grosvenor and associates Rashi Jain, Kasab Vora, and Reem Al Mahrizi. Trainee lawyer Fatma Al Mataani also contributed to the effort.
The newly issued bonds are set to be admitted to trading on the Bonds and Sukuk Market of the Muscat Stock Exchange. Ubhar Capital S.A.O.C. (U-Capital) served as the issue manager for this transaction, with Trowers & Hamlins acting as transaction counsel on all aspects of the issuance.
