DOCVIT Law Firm Expands Footprint With Office In Hong Kong
Beijing-based DOCVIT Law Firm has announced the opening of its tenth branch office, located in Hong Kong. This expansion marks a significant milestone for the firm amidst a notable increase in mainland Chinese legal practices establishing a presence in the city.
The new office in Hong Kong will offer a wide range of legal services, including cross-border litigation and enforcement, family trusts, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, bond funds, and overseas listings, reflecting DOCVIT's diverse legal expertise.
The decision to open the new office aligns with the ongoing trend of mainland law firms entering the Hong Kong market. According to the Law Society of Hong Kong, 14 such firms have obtained local licenses, with an additional 29 operating as registered foreign law firms.
DOCVIT's expansion into Hong Kong is strategically aimed at strengthening its service network within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA). The firm stated that this move supports its objective of enhancing its international service system.
With existing offices in major Chinese cities including Shenzhen, Shanghai, and Wuhan, DOCVIT views the establishment of its Hong Kong branch as a pivotal step in its ongoing growth and international outreach efforts.
