Ropes & Gray has advised Gauge Capital, a leading middle market private equity firm, on the close of its oversubscribed fourth fund, Gauge Capital IV, with approximately $1.4 billion in commitments.
Based in Southlake, Texas, Gauge Capital invests in five key sectors - business services, food and consumer, government and industrial services, healthcare, and technology.
The Gauge Capital team is the largest investor in the fund, representing over 25 percent of the committed capital.
The Ropes & Gray team was led by asset management partner Debra Lussier and included tax partner Scott Pinarchick, employment, executive compensation and employee benefits partner Sharon Remmer, and finance partner Patricia Teixeira.
