China’s DeHeng Law Expands International Footprint with New Office in Seoul
In April, DeHeng Law Offices opened a new office in Seoul, marking the firm's 11th overseas branch and expanding its global presence. DeHeng Law Offices is currently ranked as the third-largest law firm in China.
The new DeHeng Law Offices branch in Seoul, led by partner Zhu Cuiying, will provide legal services on various matters including Korean investment, litigation and arbitration, intellectual property, anti-unfair competition, and franchising.
DeHeng Law Offices expects to capitalise on the strong economic ties between China and South Korea, as bilateral trade reached $360 billion in 2021 and China has been South Korea's top trading partner for 18 years.
The firm anticipates that the bilateral free-trade agreement between China and South Korea and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement will further strengthen the economic ties between the two countries and provide more opportunities for cooperation.
