Justice Alok Takes Oath as Chief Justice of Telangana High Court in Hyderabad

Justice Alok Aradhe has taken oath as Chief Justice of Telangana High Court at a ceremonial program held at Raj Bhavan in Hyderabad. Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan administered the oath to Justice Aradhe. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, and some of his cabinet colleagues were present on the occasion.

Justice Alok Aradhe succeeds Justice Ujjal Bhuyan, who has been elevated to the post of judge of the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court Collegium on 5 July had recommended that Justice Alok Aradhe be appointed as the Chief Justice of Telangana High Court.

Born on 13th April, 1964 at Raipur, Alok Aradhe enrolled as lawyer on 12 July, 1988.

Justice Alok Aradhe began his practice in Jabalpur from 1988, where he dealt with civil, constitutional, arbitration and company matters.

He was appointed as an additional judge of the Madhya Pradesh High Court on December 2009.

Later, he was appointed as permanent judge in February 2011. On November 17, 2018, Justice Aradhe transferred to Karnataka High Court.

Justice Aradhe will serve in his new position until 2026 as a Chief Justice of Telangana High Court.
