Khaitan & Co advised Premji Invest on leading the Series B round of financing of Dezerv Investments Private Limited which also saw participation from certain existing investors including Matrix, Elevation, and Accel.
Premji Invest is one of the largest India based private equity and venture capital investment fund backed by Mr Azim Premji.
Dezerv raised ₹265 crores in this funding round, led by Premji Invest, to expand its investment strategies for high-net-worth individuals (HNIs) in India.
The fresh capital is expected to bolster Dezerv’s technology platform and enable the hiring of investment specialists to support its next phase of growth.
Khaitan & Co advised Premji Invest with its primary investment in Dezerv Investments Private Limited and secondary purchase of securities of Dezerv Investments Private Limited from existing shareholders by undertaking a legal due diligence on Dezerv Investments Private Limited and drafting and negotiating the transaction documents.
