Hogan Lovells' advised OutSystems in acquisition of Ionic

Hogan Lovells provided support to OutSystems, a leader in high-performance application development in its acquisition of Ionic, one of the most popular platforms for creating mobile and desktop applications utilising web technologies.

IT leaders will have support in reimagining the processes through which mission-critical applications are developed, distributed, and maintained. With the help of OutSystems and Ionic, two platforms place a premium on quality, performance, security and scale.

The mobile UI toolkit Ionic Framework, the Capacitor tool for natively deploying web apps and Stencil, a tool chain for creating web component-based design systems, are a few of the well-known open-source items created by Ionic.
