Paras Lalwani
Paras is a Director and the Head of International Arbitration in Bayfront Law LLC, a formal law alliance with Nishimura & Asahi (Singapore) LLP. Paras focuses his practice on International Arbitration and Global Investigations, with a particular focus on the Technology sector.
Paras is of Indian origin and is dual qualified in Singapore and New York. Paras has extensive experience in handling high value and complex commercial litigation and international arbitrations. He regularly appears before the Singapore Courts, as well as before arbitral tribunals in both institutional and ad hoc arbitrations. Paras is a qualified arbitrator and a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He is a member of the SIAC’s Panel of Reserve Arbitrators, HKIAC’s List of Arbitrators and THAC’s Panel of Arbitrators. He is also a member of the Inquiry Panel, and acts as prosecutor on behalf of the Law Society of Singapore in disciplinary matters.
Paras was recently named by Singapore Business Review Magazine as one of Singapore’s 30 Most Influential Lawyers under 40, and by Asia Legal Business magazines as one of Singapore’s Rising Stars 2022. In addition, Paras was endorsed by Best Lawyers International: Singapore in their 2022, 2023 and 2024 editions for his abilities in Litigation and Banking & Finance.
