SS Rana & Co., a leading intellectual property law firm in India, announced that its Senior Partner Bindra Rana completed her 50th Anniversary at the Bar Council of Delhi on November 8, 2018.
With nearly 50 years of experience in Banking, Corporate, Commercial Laws, IP, and Service matters, Bindra is a Supreme Court Advocate-on-Record, a Registered Patent Agent, and an IP Attorney. In her present role, she leads the firm’s Litigation Team along with its Founding Partner Sohan Singh Rana. She also heads the firm’s Anti-Sexual Harassment Committee.
Throughout her career, Bindra has advised several Fortune 500 companies and some of the world’s leading corporations with regard to securing, protecting, enforcing, and exploiting their IP assets in India and globally.
From 1972 to 1979, Bindra worked with the Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India. Thereafter, from 1979 to 1987, she was the Law Officer for Bank of Maharashtra. In 1989, Bindra along with Sohan Singh Rana founded S.S. Rana & Co. From 1989 to 2004, she was on Central Government Panel Counsel, and from 1989 to 2014, she was on UPSC Panel Counsel.
