S&R Associates represented Firmenich International SA (“Firmenich”), the world’s largest privately-owned fragrance and taste company, Koninklijke DSM N.V. (“DSM”), a Dutch-Swiss company and health, nutrition & bioscience global leader, and Danube AG, a wholly-owned subsidiary of DSM, in obtaining Indian competition law approval for the merger between DSM and Firmenich to form DSM-Firmenich AG, a Swiss domiciled company whose shares are proposed to be listed on Euronext Amsterdam.
The Competition Commission of India (CCI) approved the merger between Koninklijke DSM N.V. (DSM) and Firmenich International SA (Firmenich) under Section 31(1) of the Competition Act, 2002.
