S&R Associates is representing Eros International PLC, a global Indian entertainment company in its proposed stock-for-stock merger with STX Filmworks, Inc., a global media company.
Eros International Media Ltd is an Indian motion picture production and distribution company. According to a Press Release released by the company, the merger combines leading Indian film studio and OTT platform with one of Hollywood's fastest-growing independent media companies. Post merger the combined company will be named Eros STX Global Corporation and will trade publicly on the NYSE.
STX Entertainment is a fully-integrated global media company specializing in the production, marketing, and distribution of talent-driven motion picture, television and multimedia content.
The S&R corporate team includes partners Rajat Sethi and Sudip Mahapatra and associates Vidhi Sharma, Gunit Kaur and Tanaya Desai. Simran Dhir, head of competition practice, and associates Dhruv Agarwal and Ishika Rout are advising on competition law matters.
