SNG & Partners Forms Alliance With Snowkap
Seen as a gamechanger move, it will set new standards for innovation and accountability in the environmental, social and governance sector
A full-service law firm with offices in India and overseas, SNG & Partners has announced its alliance with Snowkap, a Singapore-based ESG firm with a presence in the Middle East and India.
Blending legal acumen with ESG excellence, the firms will deliver a complete suite of ESG+L services and solutions. The aim is to provide organizations with a comprehensive understanding of the baselines, risks and opportunities including legal exposures, associated with ESG.
Commenting on the synergy, Rajesh Narain Gupta, the Chairman of SNG & Partners stated, “The collaboration between SNG & Partners and Snowkap marks a significant milestone in our journey towards driving sustainable business practices. By combining our legal expertise with Snowkap's advanced technological solutions, we are poised to offer unprecedented support to organizations striving to meet their ESG goals.”
“This will be a game changer, setting new standards for innovation and accountability in the ESG sector. It goes beyond mere compliance as it will position companies to become ESG leaders, not just in India, but on the global stage,” he added.
The move will empower businesses to stay ahead of the compliance curve and integrate ESG+L into business strategy. Going beyond the diagnostics, the collaboration will provide holistic and sustainable solutions to corporate ESG challenges, based on the deep industry knowledge and sector-specific bespoke ESG+L frameworks.
SNG & Partners has meticulously analyzed over 4,000 ESG-related data points from Indian laws and statutes. By integrating this knowledge with Snowkap’s advanced ESG analytics and data capabilities, it has developed a comprehensive platform that supports global organizations in their sustainability drive.
Rajesh Patel, the Co-Founder and CEO and Giri Krishnaswamy, the Co-Founder of Snowkap shared, “Partnering with SNG & Partners allows Snowkap to expand our reach and impact within the ESG landscape. We will disrupt traditional methods and introduce cutting-edge tools and strategies that empower businesses to achieve greater transparency and sustainability. This combination is not just an alliance; it's a transformative force that will reshape how ESG commitments are approached and fulfilled across industries.”
Focusing on manufacturing and consumer businesses and financial institutions, the partnership will provide sector-agnostic services. It will leverage its tech-enabled products and manage services. The union will also assist businesses with carbon accounting, supply chain GHG analysis, product carbon footprint, ESG reports, supply chain ESG analysis, pre-deal assessments and post-deal ESG monitoring.
The SNG & Partners team assisting Rajesh Narain Gupta in the collaboration includes Associate Partner Jahnavi Dwarkadas, Senior Associate Rachit Munjal and Associate Manan Pant.
The Snowkap team working with Rajesh Patel and Giri Krishnaswamy includes principal sustainability architect Martin Malmros and Vice President - Sustainability Ambalika Gupta.
