Link Legal successfully represented the promoters of Manesar based Mystair Hygiene, in an acquisition of controlling stake by Saraya, a Japanese multinational company.
Mystair Hygiene is a market leader in providing world-class hygiene solutions to institutional customers in the 'away from home' (AFH) market. Through its pan India presence, Mystair Hygiene caters to a diverse set of marquee customers in the aviation, hospitality, education, services, and manufacturing sectors.
Saraya is an Osaka based leading global manufacturer of infection control, sanitation, and hygiene products with 12 factories, 3 R&D labs; and having over 1,800 employees, supporting customers across Asia-Pacific, North America and Europe. Saraya's line of business extends from hand hygiene products to all forms of sanitation such as food safety, infection prevention and control, public health, and functional foods.
Grant Thornton and SMC Capital jointly acted as the transaction advisors for the promoters of Mystair Hygiene. Saraya was represented by E&Y (financial advisor) and Business Law Chambers (legal advisor).
