IAMC, Hyderabad Inks MoU With Dubai International Arbitration Centre Strengthening Dispute Resolution Collaboration
IAMC, Hyderabad, and the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) have taken a significant stride towards enhancing international collaboration in dispute resolution. On May 30, 2024, IAMC, Hyderabad, inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with DIAC, cementing strategic ties between the two prominent institutions.
The signing ceremony for the MoU unfolded at the DIAC headquarters in Dubai, where Tariq Khan, Registrar of IAMC, represented IAMC, while Jehad Kazim, Executive Director of DIAC, signed on behalf of DIAC. The event witnessed the presence of DIAC court members and Justice L. Nageswara Rao, Life Trustee of IAMC.
This MoU signifies a shared commitment from both organizations to collaborate in advancing international arbitration leveraging their respective strengths and expertise. It sets the stage for various collaborative endeavours, including conferences, workshops, and training programs on international arbitration and other dispute resolution mechanisms.
Moreover, this MoU marks a significant milestone in India-Dubai relations within the international arbitration sphere. By amalgamating their efforts, IAMC and DIAC aim to roll out a series of joint events, training initiatives, and programs that will be advantageous for practitioners and stakeholders in both regions.
