Haryana government strives to dispose of GST refunds
The Taxation and Excise Department has launched a special drive
The Government of Haryana has launched a special drive to dispose of/process all Goods and Services Taxes (GST) refunds. This would be done by the field formations across the state over a period of 45 days.
Within a month (08 November- 08 December) a total of 199 refund applications amounting to Rs.107.88 crores were processed/disposed of. In percentage terms, 77.44 per cent of the total count of pendency and 80 per cent of the amount involved in these refund cases, were dealt with.
The Haryana government reiterated that it would strive to continue its commitment towards its taxpayers and provide all refunds within the time period stipulated under GST Act, 2017.
