Gauri Rasgotra resigns from Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas to set up a boutique law firm
Gauri Rasgotra resigns from Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas to set up a boutique law firm
Previously working with Khaitan & Co, she joined the firm in 2015
Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) litigation partner and deputy head of its Delhi office, Gauri Rasgotra will be leaving the firm in January 2023 to set up her own boutique law firm
Confirming the development, Cyril Shroff, the managing partner at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas said, "Rasgotra has been the heart and soul of our firm's Delhi office for the last eight years. She wishes to pursue a career in advocacy as an independent counsel and goes with our fullest support and goodwill. We will miss her but are confident that we will continue to work very closely together."
On her decision to move on, Rasgotra said, "It has been an exciting and satisfying journey for me at CAM. Mrs. and Mr. Shroff conceptualized the Delhi office in 2015 and with their wise and dynamic leadership, built it into a leading law firm in the city. I have had the privilege of sharing this journey and will always remember the freedom and support I received from them in running the Delhi office."
She added, "It is now time for me to take up a new challenge. I have decided to set up an independent practice of my own. I look forward to the new challenge with hope, passion, and confidence. I will continue to treasure my association with Mrs. and Mr. Shroff."
