Chandhiok & Mahajan promotes three lawyers to partnership
The firm now has nine partners
Chandhiok & Mahajan has elevated three lawyers Lovejeet Singh, Lagna Panda, and Avinash Amarnath to a partnership.
Pooja Mahajan, the Managing Partner at Chandhiok & Mahajan commented on the promotions, saying, "Our newly elected partners represent a breadth of skills and experience across practice areas. With over 13 years of experience, Singh is a 2008 graduate from Punjab University and in 2009, secured an LL.M. from Cardiff University. He began his career as an international intern at Azmi & Associates for three months, after which he was with LexisNexis as a Legal Research Editor. Later, he joined the Corporate Law Group in Delhi, working for five years. Subsequently, for three years he served at Clasis Law. In 2019, Singh joined Chandhiok & Mahajan as a Managing Associate.
Panda is a 2012 graduate of the National Law University, Jodhpur. With a decade of experience, she has worked with leading firms including J Sagar Associates. She joined Chandhiok & Mahajan as a Senior Associate in 2018.
Amarnath is a 2011 graduate of Symbiosis International University and did his LL.M. in 2012 from King's College, London. With over 12 years of experience, he has worked with the erstwhile Amarchand & Mangaldas, Talwar Thakore & Associates, and at the chambers of Senior Advocate Amit Sibal. Prior to joining Chandhiok & Mahajan as a Counsel in 2020, for over two years Amarnath practiced independently as an Advocate-on-Record.
