Chandhiok And Mahajan Represent DPNC Advisors In Insolvency Petition Against Furlenco
NCLT Bangalore has issued a notice to Furlenco (House of Keiraya Pvt. Ltd.) in an insolvency petition filed against them by DPNC Advisors Pvt. Ltd. Under Section 9 of the code.
The matter was listed today where the senior counsel appearing for DPNC informed the Bench that an amount of INR 7.5 crores is due and payable to DPNC by Furlenco, in terms of an engagement letter signed by both parties.
It was further submitted that there were multiple communications between the parties where the parties have acknowledged this transaction.
Furlenco has been directed to file its reply in 2 weeks.
The matter is listed on 17 September 2024 for further hearing.
DPNC was represented by Mr. CK Nandakumar, Sr. Adv. who was briefed by Ms. Pooja Mahajan, Mr. Savar Mahajan and Ms. Shreya Mahalwar from Chandhiok and Mahajan, Advocates and Solicitors.
