CA Election 2021: ICAI reports List of Elected Members to 25th Council

Elected Members of the 25th Council of CA Election 2021 have been notified by the Institute.

In accordance with Rule 36 of the Chartered Accountants (Election to the Council) Rules, 2006, the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is pleased to announce the names (in alphabetical order), membership numbers and places of the members who have been elected to the Twenty-Fifth Council of the Institute from the constituencies," the ICAI notified.

To begin with, 11 members have been elected from the Western India Regional Constituency, which comprises Goa, Gujarat, and Maharashtra, as well as the Union Territories of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.

Secondly, from the Southern India Regional Constituency comprising of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Telangana as well as the Union Territories of Lakshadweep and Pondicherry, 6 members have been elected.

Thirdly, three members have been elected from the Eastern India Regional Constituency, which includes the states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Orissa, Sikkim, Tripura, West Bengal and the Union Territory of Andaman & Nicobar Island.

Fourthly, six members have been elected from the constituency of Central India Regional Constituency that comprises Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh.

Lastly, six members have been elected from the constituency of Northern India Regional Constituency. It includes the states of Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab as well as the union territories of Chandigarh, Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
