Aditya Birla Sun Life Announces End Of Alka Bharucha’s Second Term As Independent Director
She is an expert in mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, joint ventures and private equity
Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC Limited has stated that Alka Bharucha has completed her second consecutive term as an Independent Director, ending her tenure.
A solicitor of the Bombay High Court and the High Court of England and Wales and an Advocate on Record at the Supreme Court of India, she is an expert in mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, joint ventures and private equity.
Bharucha began her career at Mulla & Mulla and Craigie Blunt & Caroe. She later became a Partner at Amarchand & Mangaldas and Suresh A. Shroff & Co in 1992. She co-founded Bharucha & Partners in 2008.
Her current board positions include Independent Directorships at UltraTech Cement Limited, Hindalco Industries Ltd, Orient Electric Ltd, and India Cements Ltd. She also serves as a Non-Executive Director at Safalya Investments and Traders Pvt Ltd.
