With the theme "Artificial Intelligence Changing the World of IP & Tech," the Conclave brought together global pioneers from the fields of Intellectual Property (IP) and Technology law, creating a dynamic platform to celebrate innovation and explore the evolving intersection between technology and the legal landscape. The Conclave served as a platform to honour distinguished Global IP, AI & Tech professionals in various industries, law firms, and IP Counsel for their commendable contributions to the field of IP.
The two-day conclave was a magnificent celebration of brilliance, collaboration, and progress, drawing distinguished professionals from across the globe to engage in thought-provoking discussions, exchange ground-breaking ideas, and honor the exceptional contributions of leaders shaping the future of these transformative fields. As legal and technological landscapes continue to evolve at a rapid pace, the conclave illuminated the profound impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in revolutionizing industries and shaping the future of IP and technology law.
This year's conclave featured 4 engaging plenary sessions and over 18 insightful sessions, making it a robust platform for exploration and discovery. Global IP & Tech visionaries came together for 18+ dynamic sessions, offering deep dives into AI, data privacy, IP licensing, and the monumental shifts transforming the world of Intellectual Property law. Distinguished speakers from over 13 Countries, including Brazil, China, Germany, India, Israel, Italy, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, UAE, and USA, shared their diverse perspectives and expertise, enriching the discussions and inspiring new avenues for cross-border collaboration.
A key highlight of the conclave was the much-anticipated Legal Era Global IP Awards 2025, where the finest minds in Intellectual Property were recognized for their remarkable contributions to the field. Distinguished IP practitioners and experts, with achievements spanning patents, copyrights, trademarks, geographical indications, and trade secrets, were celebrated for their excellence and foresight.
The conclave was conceptualized by Legal Era Global in collaboration with the Legal Era IP Lawyers Community and the Global IP AI & Tech Community (GIPAIT), a premier think tank uniting trailblazers in global Intellectual Property, Artificial Intelligence, and technology. Since its inception in 2009, the Legal Era Community has been steadfast in its mission to advance knowledge through its publications and empower the global legal fraternity via dynamic knowledge-sharing forums. Over the past 15 years, Legal Era has successfully hosted and created thought leadership and knowledge-sharing conferences across India, the United States, the United Kingdom, the Middle East, and Africa.

Welcoming an audience brimming with visionaries and industry stalwarts, Ms. Aakriti Raizada, Founder and Managing Editor, Legal Era, set an inspiring tone for the conclave. In her opening address, she emphasized the mission of the conclave, stating:

The inaugural session on Day 1 of the conclave featured an insightful keynote address by Chairperson Mr. Pravin Anand, titled “Artificial Intelligence Changing the World of IP & Tech.” His speech captivated the audience as he drew parallels between two major events in January 2025: the Mahakumbh Mela in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, and the Los Angeles wildfires, highlighting the profound impact of AI on real-world challenges and emerging trends. He also shared insights from his visit to the Museum of the Future in Dubai, where AI is being used to create personalized perfumes, an intriguing example of how AI is reshaping industries.
The day unfolded with a series of compelling sessions and discussions, where eminent panelists explored critical themes, including the reinvention of IP strategies in the age of technological transformation, the role of AI in ownership and protection of intellectual property, and the challenges posed by generative AI tools like ChatGPT. From tackling patent challenges in the pharmaceutical sector to developing robust IP strategies for startups and SMEs, every session provided a treasure trove of insights. As the day transitioned into evening, the air buzzed with excitement as the Global IP, AI & Tech Awards 2025 honored exceptional achievers, setting a glittering conclusion to the first day of the conclave.
Day 2 carried forward the momentum with equal vigor, opening with thought-provoking plenary sessions on trade secrets and the role of in-house counsel in creating brand value through innovative IP strategies. Discussions during the day encompassed a wide range of pressing topics, such as the challenges and opportunities of blockchain and generative AI in emerging technologies, the intricacies of FRAND and SEP agreements, and the critical intersection of AI and copyright in the media and entertainment industry. Sessions on the enforcement of IP in the Asia and MENA regions, along with strategies to combat counterfeiting and piracy, added depth and diversity to the conclave’s agenda.
Over the two days the grand culmination of the conclave was marked by the prestigious Legal Era Global IP Awards 2025 ceremony, graced by the esteemed Hon’ble Justice Yashwant Varma, Acting Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court. Hon’ble Justice Varma’s presence added gravitas to the occasion as he felicitated the awardees, acknowledging their extraordinary contributions and unwavering dedication to advancing the field of Intellectual Property. The awardees represented a truly global community of innovators and practitioners, with expertise spanning patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. These distinguished recipients included IP Counsels, Women in IP, and Global IP Lawyers whose meritorious careers have spanned the globe, contributing significantly to the development and evolution of Intellectual Property law across regions.
As the curtains descended on this remarkable celebration, Legal Era Global extended heartfelt gratitude to its esteemed sponsors and partners, whose steadfast support turned this vision into reality.
