She has done her B.A. (Hons. in History, (1988) from University of Delhi; LL.B. (1991)University of Delhi and LL.M. (1992) from University of Cambridge

She is member of the Bar Council of Delhi

She regularly contributes to various publications that include - Drafting an Arbitration Agreement: An Indian Litigation Perspective. She has co-authored Litigation and Arbitration with Raunaq Bahadur Mathur in November 2019. She has also contributed to India Chapter of the Chambers & Partners 2019 Global Practice Guide on International Arbitration.
