karan Bindra, Founder & Partner at KIAA LLP, started his ground-breaking journey in 2011 when the legal space was dominated by top legal leaders. Post his higher studies in the subject, his willpower to break this walled space, was reinforced. Conceptualised presently as a multi-service law firm, sought after by national and international clients for its creative, customised, and practical legal solutions, which started as a boutique law firm.
Karan has served several high-stake clients including Air Asia, Malala Fund, Union of India and has also catered to the start-up space, helping him become an expert in varied laws ranging from Environment Protection Laws, Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code, Debt Recovery Laws, Intellectual Property Laws, Aviation Laws, Real Estate Laws, Family Laws and Cryptocurrency Laws and Blockchain Technology having read them from the prestigious Berkley and Harvard University respectively.
Karan is celebrated for his par excellence negotiation talents which have quite often helped clients to save future litigations.
Karan is actively involved in providing pro bono legal services assisting many not-for-profit/charitable organisations on different aspects of Indian laws. Some of his pro bono clients include - Malala Fund, Sustainable Agriculture Network, Trust Law-Thomson Reuters Foundation, Asia’s Hope, and Step Ahead - Thailand.
He has also been bestowed the IR Global (Banking & Finance) Global Lawyer’s Recognition and has been selected for being a ‘Mentor for the Business Blaster’ by the Delhi Government. Also Mr. Bindra is working as Mentor with IFCI Venture Capital Funds. Karan is also identified as Recommended Attorney by Global Law Experts and has also led the firm into being recognised amongst Asia’s top 500 firms in the world’s leading legal directory ‘Legal 500’.
