Paul Hastings hires leading finance partner in New York
Paul Hastings has expanded its global finance team in New York with the addition of an experienced partner from Weil Gotshal & Manges
Morgan Bale joined the Los Angeles giant after spending 24 years at Weil, where he represented clients like Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and Citi in significant transactions.
According to Paul Hastings chair Frank Lopez, Morgan is a leading finance lawyer with great record. He represents a cross-section of leading banks and corporate in the most high-profile, complex finance transactions among some of the most renowned companies in the world,"
Bale counsels clients on acquisition financing and other event-driven lending transactions. It includes investment-grade, leveraged cash flow, and asset-based syndicated credit facilities, along with loan restructurings, debtor-in-possession financings, and exit financings.
Bale has worked on various significant transactions. He has represented Goldman Sachs in connection with CVS Health Corporation's $78 billion acquisition of Aetna, Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse in connection with International Flavors & Fragrances' $45 billion merger with DuPont's Nutrition & Biosciences business and Citi in the Occidental Petroleum Corporation's $55 billion acquisition of Anadarko Petroleum.
