Xavier Amadei is a partner in Herbert Smith Freehills

The London-headquartered law firm has boosted its capital markets practice

Herbert Smith Freehills (HSF) has added Xavier Amadei as a partner in Singapore from Baker McKenzie Wong & Leow.

Amadei is HSF's second partner hire in recent times. Earlier, project finance specialist Rupert Baker had re-joined the firm as a partner in Singapore from the Japanese conglomerate SoftBank Group.

An expert in equity, debt and equity-linked offerings, Amandei had joined Baker McKenzie in 2019. Prior to that, he spent about 15 years at Linklaters in the US, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Previously he worked at White & Case.
