Vineet Bose joins Ambuja Cements Limited and ACC Limited as Head Legal and Senior Vice President
Erstwhile Senior Vice President – Legal and General Counsel of Nuvoco Group, Vineet Bose has joined Ambuja Cements Limited and ACC Limited (Adani Group Cement Business) as Head Legal and Senior Vice President. In his role at the organization, Vineet would be responsible to drive legal function of a large and complex manufacturing organization having pan India operations to achieve the strategic vision of Adani Group cement business.
Enriched with an entrepreneurship approach, thinking creative apart from having an attitude that is leadership-driven and focussed on business, Vineet concentrates on litigation strategy and effective management, standardisation of contracts, digitisation, compliance, governance and policy advocacy. Apart from heading the teams in various organisations, he has advised young talents and always motivated youngsters to work sincerely in business so that they can grasp the business nuances early in their careers to provide solutions to issues related to business.
Vineet Bose has been a member of the panel in a number of seminars where he shared his thoughts on modern legal issues. He has an expertise of more than 23 years in sectors involving diverse segments such as chemicals, polymers, mining, metals, food & nutrition, oil & gas, real estate, telecom, and cement.
Earlier, Vineet has been a part of many well-known companies such as Vedanta, Hindustan Zinc, DuPont, and Bharti group.
He joined the Nuvoco Group as General Counsel in March 2021. Prior to that, he worked as a General Counsel for Vedanta and Hindustan Zinc. Being in-house counsel in a number of organisations, Vineet has worked closely with groups like Supply chain, R&D, Finance, Manufacturing and Logistics to engage in opportunities and solutions for legal/regulatory matters. He has also jointly initiated legally amenable as well as sustainable operating models that provide ideal cost and benefits in tax.
Vineet’s expertise allowed him to manage critical legal issues in course of managing assignments that are related to M&As, Initial public offerings (IPO) and restructuring supply chain. He has also worked on distribution models, environment and forest clearances, lease rights in mining, Royalty, Govt Audits and Tax disputes, Oil & Gas Production sharing agreements, Industrial disputes, Custom, SEBI, and CCI investigations, Electricity law matters, Contractual disputes, Criminal trials in industrial accidents issues and PILs.
Vineet, in the early stages of his career, has also managed investigations/inspections as part of the administrative body with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA).
A graduate in law from Delhi University with a Master’s degree in business laws from NLU Bangalore, Vineet is also a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and a Grad ICWA from the reputed Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India (ICWAI).
All throughout his career, Vineet has managed a number of legal and regulatory issues and highlighted both his legal expertise as well as the management of the business, product, marketing, or taxation to give useful solutions.
