Trilegal Strengthens Banking and Finance Practice with Addition of Pallavi Banerjee
Trilegal Strengthens Banking and Finance Practice with Addition of Pallavi Banerjee
Trilegal’s partnership has unanimously voted to invite Pallavi Banerjee, an executive director and senior legal counsel at Goldman Sachs in India, to join the firm as a Partner in the banking and finance practice in Mumbai. This strategic move comes as Trilegal’s financing practice has experienced rapid growth in recent years, and Pallavi’s addition is expected to enhance the firm’s ability to effectively support clients.
Nishant Parikh, a Partner and Member of the management committee at Trilegal, expressed a warm welcome to Pallavi. “Her expertise and experience in financing transactions will be a valuable addition to our fast-growing Banking and Finance practice group," Parikh stated.
Meanwhile, Ameya Khandge, Partner and Head of the Banking and Finance practice, eagerly welcomed Pallavi. “Her extensive experience in private debt, stressed assets, debt financing, and structured debt products, including loans and debt issuances, will supplement our practice’s core strengths,” Khandge said.
Kannan Rahul, another Partner at Trilegal who has collaborated with Pallavi in the past, praised her technical prowess in debt matters, client relationship management, and teamwork. “She has now been on both sides of the fence, having worked in-house for a marquee institution as well as for top-tier law firms, and that type of hybrid experience is invaluable. She will add significantly to execution capabilities on a broad range of financing transactions at Trilegal,” Rahul added.
With Pallavi’s induction, Trilegal’s partnership strength will now reach a total of 117.
