Sudipta Ghosh Joins EAAA Alternatives as Head of Legal, Real Assets
Sudipta Ghosh has joined EAAA Alternatives (formerly known as Edelweiss Alternatives Asset Advisors) as Head of Legal for the Real Assets - a Yield Fund. In her new role, Sudipta will be responsible for establishing and leading the legal department, focusing on platforms that invest in critical infrastructure, including roads, real estate, InvITs, and a pioneering climate fund.
She brings extensive expertise in project financing and infrastructure projects. Prior to joining EAAA Alternatives, she worked with Apraava Energy, where she played a key role in advising the company on legal aspects of setting up conventional and renewable energy projects, particularly in wind and solar sectors across India. Her experience in the energy sector also includes advising on and negotiating project documents, offtake agreements, and the execution of both conventional and non-conventional power projects. With a career spanning notable law firms like Trilegal and Amarchand Mangaldas, Sudipta has handled a wide array of domestic and international financing for infrastructure projects, including power and airport financing. She has a keen interest and varied experience in project financing.
Excited about her new role, Sudipta shared in a LinkedIn post, "Excited to embark on a new chapter with EAAA Alternatives as the Head of Legal for the Real Assets – a Yield Fund. In this role, I am responsible for setting up and leading the legal department to support platforms investing in critical infrastructure such as roads, real estate, InvITs, and a pioneering climate fund."
