Sowmya Kumar Joins Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas As Partner In Employment Practice
Sowmya Kumar has joined Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas as a Partner in its Employment Practice. She will be based in the New Delhi – NCR office.
Sowmya brings with her experience of more than a decade in advising clients on all aspects of India’s employment and social security laws. Her approach to human resource laws combines the depth of Indian jurisprudence with the pragmatism of market practices. She has also won numerous awards and has been recognized by leading publications.
Welcoming her to the firm, Mr. Cyril Shroff, Managing Partner, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, said, “We are happy to have Sowmya join us. Her impressive professional experience will be a valuable asset to our Employment practice.”
A graduate of NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, Sowmya also holds an LLM (with distinction) from University College London. She started her career at the erstwhile Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A. Shroff and Co., Mumbai.
On her joining, Sowmya Kumar, Partner, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, said, “I am thrilled to be joining CAM’s Delhi – NCR office and eagerly look forward to being a part of the Employment practice here.
