Sonam Mathur rejoins Talwar Thakore & Associates as a partner
She will operate from the firm's Delhi office
After working as an independent lawyer and as a counsel at Trilegal, Sonam Mathur has rejoined the New Delhi-based law firm Talwar Thakore & Associates as a partner. She will lead its Competition Law practice.
Welcoming her back into the fold, Partner Kunal Thakore said, "It is great to have Mathur back with us at this exciting time as we look to grow the firm and the practice."
Partner Feroz Dubash added, "The team has been extremely active in the merger control and behavioral space, particularly in the last year. Mathur's presence will provide a significant bolstering to our experience and capability."
A 2008 graduate of West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata, Mathur obtained an LL.M. degree from King's College, London.
Soon after graduating, she joined Dhall Law Chambers, working there for over three and a half years. Later, she joined Talwar Thakore for over five years. Post that, she practiced Competition Law as an independent practitioner for over a year. Subsequently, serving for less than a year at Trilegal.
