Shiraj Salelkar and Vidur Legal team joins Lexicon Law Partners
The law firm now has an office in the western suburbs of Bandra
Mumbai-based law firm Vidur Legal has merged with Lexicon Law Partners. Solicitor Shiraj Salelkar, the founder of Vidur Legal joined one of India's contemporary law firms along with his entire team. At Lexicon, he will be focusing on dispute resolution.
In 2021, Siddharth Kanakia of SK Associates, who has hands-on experience in land acquisition matters, development of commercial complexes and townships and media and entertainment transactions, had merged his firm into Lexicon.
On the induction of the new partners and expansion of the team, Lexicon's senior solicitor and managing partner, Ajay Vazirani said, "With Kanakia and Salelkar coming in, the team derives its strength from the vast practical and academic experience that will promote the solution-oriented approach of the firm."
Salelkar is a 1994 graduate of the Indian Law Society's Law College, Pune. With over 27 years of experience, he has previously been a partner at IC Universal Legal and J Sagar Associates. He has also worked with other leading firms including Crawford Bayley & Co.
