Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. appoints Priya Subbaraman as Senior Advisor – Regulatory
Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. has appointed Priya Subbaraman as Senior Advisor – Regulatory. She will be located at the firm’s Delhi office and will be working closely with the Capital Markets and Financial Services team on all regulatory aspects.
Priya has close to three decades of leadership experience in Indian and global financial institutions including stock exchange, investment and commercial banks and securities houses.
Prior to joining SAM & Co., Priya was working as the Chief Regulatory Officer of the National Stock Exchange, where she was a key member of multiple regulatory committees in NSE. She has worked as the head of compliance for corporate, institutional and commercial banking at Standard Chartered Bank. She was also the compliance officer at Goldman Sachs Securities between 2010-15.
Priya holds a bachelors in law and commerce from Mumbai University. She is also a Company Secretary and holds a diploma in Business Finance from The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India.
