Saurya Bhattacharya joins J Sagar Associates as partner in Mumbai
Saurya Bhattacharya joins J Sagar Associates as partner in Mumbai
He was earlier serving at HSA Advocates
Saurya Bhattacharya has moved to J Sagar Associates (JSA) as a partner in the corporate practice at the firm's Mumbai office. JSA's partnership has now grown to 114.
With nearly 16 years of experience, Bhattacharya specializes in domestic and cross-border corporate matters. He focuses on M&A, joint ventures, investments/fundraises, asset and business sales, commercial contracts, corporate compliance, and strategic advisory.
On his appointment, Vivek Chandy the joint managing partner of JSA said, "We are delighted to welcome Bhattacharya to the firm. His wide-ranging corporate advisory and transactional experience and knowledge further cements our offering and ability to deliver innovative solutions to our clients. Bhattacharya is a 2007 graduate of the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata. He obtained an LL.M. in corporate and financial law from OP Jindal Global University.
He has previously worked with Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas for about 14 years and was a national partner head of the Kolkata office at HSA Advocates.
