Sampath Kumar Rajagopalan rejoins Trilegal as Partner
He served at Ernst & Young for the past five years
Sampath Kumar Rajagopalan has rejoined Trilegal as a partner in the corporate practice in Delhi. He will focus on corporate governance and compliance matters.
The partnership strength of Trilegal has now reached 114.
Rajagopalan has over 25 years of experience in corporate governance and secretarial compliance practice. During his in-house years in large multinationals, he worked extensively on regulatory and compliance functions, including companies, environment, labor, and economic laws, customs, income tax, FEMA, and the Securities and Exchange Board of India.

His regulatory experience spans service, manufacturing, and distribution companies. He is proficient at managing HR, administration, and procurement functions through a business and commercial lens. In the past few years, he has built a formidable reputation as an authority on governance, compliance, and transactional matters, advising boards and committees of large listed companies, REITs, InvITs, private companies, and LLPs.
A Trilegal alumnus, he joined the firm in 2008 and established the governance and compliance practice, later becoming a partner. For the past five years, Rajagopalan served as a partner and a national leader at Ernst & Young.
