Rajiv Choubey joins Dalmia Bharat as group general counsel
He was working at Ambuja Cements as chief legal officer
Rajiv Choubey has joined Dalmia Bharat Limited as a group general counsel. He will work out of the firm's New Delhi office.
With over 25 years of experience as an in-house lawyer, Rajiv has held leadership positions in several organizations including.
Rajiv has rich experience in Corporate laws, M&A, Commercial, Arbitration, Environment Laws, Mining Laws, International Trade & Business Laws.
Before joining Dalmia Bharat Group, Rajiv was working with ACC Limited as Director- Legal. He was part of Senior Management and Executive Committee of ACC Limited. In addition, he also held the position of Chief Legal Officer at Ambuja Cements Ltd.
He has previously worked with organizations such as Sterlite Industries as Head Legal & Company Secretary; Vedanta Ltd. as the Head Legal - Aluminium and Power and Company Secretary.
From 2016 to 2018, he was with HCL Infosystems as General Counsel.
A 1999 graduate of Delhi University, he has an LL.M. in corporate laws from Kurukshetra University in 2014. He is also a qualified company secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
